“ Mora has been in my gym and eyeing me since he was 1-0,” said Mosley(46-6,39KO’S), whose last performance at the Staples Center produced a brilliant destruction of then undisputed welterweight king Antonio Margarito: “ I am going to give him a chance at the Staples center, in my house.”

Promoter, Oscar De La Hoya confirmed Victor’s statement about wanting to fight a rematch with the banger from Argentina.” Victor wants to fight the best,” said De La Hoya: “We have to hold him down, but the time will come.”

Another major attraction that night will be Jalisco, Mexico’s Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, a red headed Mexican youngster who has been going through opponents and gaining popularity in Mexico with meteoric speed. Promoter Oscar De la Hoya compared going to his last fight in Mexico to events that featured Oscar in the past with majority of fans being women.
