Pacquiao faithful followers crowded East Plaza of the Cowboys Stadium to watch their idol weigh in for his upcoming bout with Joshua Clottey tomorrow night. Pacquiao weighed in at a trim and ready 145 and ¾ pounds and Clottey was right on the mark at 147 pounds. Post fight stair down ended up with both guys smiling and shaking each others hands. “It’s nothing personal,” said Manny Pacquiao: I am just doing my job, trying to make them (fans) happy.”
Hall of fame promoter bob Arum announced that he is very excited to bring the fight of this magnitude to Cowboys new stadium and that party pass tickets will be sold at $35.00 for general admission to accommodate as many fans as possible. “The fight will be watched in over eighty million homes all over the world,” said Arum:” It will be viewed in Russia, China Mexico etc.”
Arum also introduced Antonio Margarito at the podium, who received an equal amount of cheers and boos from the crowd. After loosing his boxing license resulting from a wrapping incident prior to the fight with Shane Mosley, Margarito is planning his come back to the ring in the near future.
Cowboys Darren Woodson interviewed both Joshua Clottey and Manny Pacquiao. The both promised to put on a great show for the fans.
